SERVICES
Below are the standard and special needs services that I offer, what each service includes, additional services, and important information on behaviors and conditions I don't work with.
DOG WALKING
Tailored walks for happy, healthy dogs
I take a balanced, intentional approach, ensuring your dog gets plenty of physical exercise while also allowing unrushed time for sniffing, and functional and marking urination, providing both the exercise and sensory enrichment they need for their physical and mental well-being. Safety is always a priority, so we avoid other dogs during walks. Walks are tailored to your dog's individual needs, but please refer to the Service Restrictions section for behaviors I don't work with.
What's included:
-
I’m there for up to 30 minutes, longer visits available
-
Feeding, if needed
-
Refilling the water bowl, if needed
-

BOARDING
Your pet stays in my pet-free, child-free, smoke-free home
I only board one dog at a time, to provide a safe, stress-free environment, and undivided attention to your furry child. My household is child-free, smoke-free, and comprised of two adult women (double the love!); ensuring a calm and secure atmosphere where you don't need to worry about accidental mishaps like children sneaking your dog harmful foods. They're allowed on furniture, so it’s appreciated if they arrive clean and tick-free. The space is a peaceful first-floor apartment, in a walkable neighborhood, with access to a small private dog park and a 5+ mile walking path.

ANIMAL REIKI
Our furry companions deserve peace and healing too
What is Reiki?
Reiki is a Japanese healing technique that originated in the early 20th century. It is founded on the idea that all beings are made of energy and are interconnected, a principle supported by quantum physics. The word "reiki" translates to "universal energy" or "universal life force." This holistic practice involves the gentle placement or hovering of hands over specific areas to balance the recipient's energy; promoting physical and emotional wellbeing. By supporting and balancing the body's natural energy flow, Reiki can help reduce stress, alleviate pain, and enhance overall well-being.

My credentials:
As a Reiki practitioner certified by the International Center for Reiki Training. I am honored to be able to offer this holistic healing modality to animals. Whether your furry companion is dealing with anxiety, illness, or simply needs a soothing touch; each session is tailored to their comfort and needs.
How long is each session?:
Typically, Reiki sessions for animals last a maximum of 30 minutes. The frequency and session duration depend on the animal's specific needs. Some animals may benefit from multiple sessions per week or daily initially, transitioning to maintenance sessions monthly or as needed.

"We have always had a good experience with Daniela. She has been taking our 4 year old lab girl for walks. She has always reported how the walk went and if she notices something about her health or mood. We built up the trust to leave our girl with her for a week at our house when we were traveling out of state. They went on walks to different parks and hiking trails and let me add that my dog is a little stubborn and she is very particular about who she walks with and they did perfectly fine. She sent us photos and videos of their adventures and at the end of the day she was snoring with 4 paws up in the air on her favorite couch. Our girl is on a weight loss journey so Daniela made sure she got enough exercise and stimulation every day. Our flight got delayed on the way home and she was willing to stay with her until we got back. We can only recommend her, she is truly a devoted animal lover who you can trust your pet and your home with."
