Services:

"We had a fantastic experience with Daniela. We were away for 9 days, and we booked her to stay in our home with our dog because he's very skittish, and doesn't respond well to new situations. Daniela was wonderful with him; her gentle approach won him over quickly during the intro visits we scheduled before our trip. While we were away, she sent us daily updates, pictures and videos, so we could get a clear idea of how he was adapting to us being away. Daniela was super-responsive to any of our requests during our trip, and she gave us some great suggestions based on her experience and observations for things like adjustments to his diet. It's obvious that Daniela is truly an animal-lover. She's gifted in her interaction style with pets, and very professional with her clients. She was also very respectful of our home (it was nearly impossible to tell anyone had stayed there upon our return!). We can't say enough good things about Daniela, and we'd be happy to book her again in the future."

MY STORY:
Background: I've been an animal lover ever since I can remember. At 9 years old, I was attacked by my family’s farm dog (an adult female Rottweiler). The injuries were severe and the trauma led to a deep fear of dogs. Eventually, I overcame this phobia and rediscovered my love for dogs. This experience sparked my determination to understand these amazing creatures, their body language, and taught me the importance of prioritizing safety. My younger self would never have imagined that I’d be working with dogs one day. Today, I can’t imagine my life without them!
How it all started: Outside of volunteering at shelters and sanctuaries, I started pet sitting for private clients while working remotely during the pandemic. I was living a very secluded life in the mountains of Pennsylvania and realized I needed company, so I started pet sitting. As I slowly grew my client list, I discovered how happy this work made me, so I decided to dive in fully. Years later, here I am with dozens of furry clients whom I absolutely adore!
Interests: I enjoy hiking, biking, the beach, the gym, traveling, volunteering, self-help books, psychology, mindfulness, vegan food, holistic health practices, minimalism, and zero-waste living practices.
Education: I hold a bachelor's in Family and Child Studies, a master's in Environmental Studies, and a certificate in Project Management. I'm also a certified Reiki practitioner. My professional background spans industries such as environmental engineering and tech startups. However, my unwavering passion has always been animals. My education and professional journey has honed my critical thinking and attention to detail, which I apply to pet care; ensuring your pets receive the best possible service.
If you're seeking a pet care professional who is wholeheartedly dedicated to animals and treats this work as a full-time passion, not just a side gig, then I’m the right person for you.
